We served 52 families through our Food Pantry last night and our faithful crew was here to almost 9:30 in order to serve everyone. I am so proud of the Heartland Food Pantry team that serves in our name.

PRAYER REQUEST!! PRAY FOR DARLENE!

On Saturday afternoon Darlene tripped and fell on her left elbow on a cement surface. She was in a lot of pain so we took her to the ER in Sedona. The x-rays showed a fracture in the elbow joint. The doctors say she needs surgury to On Saturday afternoon Darlene tripped and fell on her left elbow on a cement surface. She was in a lot of pain so we took her to the ER in Sedona. The x-rays showed a fracture in the elbow joint. The doctors say she needs surgury to reconnect the joint and remove a chip. Right now she is wearing a temporary splint and cast.

We have no healthcare insurance and are concerned about the expense. Please pray for her healing. We will be looking for a orthapedic doctor to follow up on this. Pray for continued healing, and provision for us financially.

We just finished a weekend of ministry in Sedona and Chino Valley. Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will return to where our RV is parked in Chandler Arizona.

We plan to continue our travels when Darlene is able.

Mike, Betty and Jon want to thank you all for your prayers for us while we were in Mexico.  We felt the protection and presence of God throughout the entire trip.  The flights went well as did all the ground transportation.  Please check out the pictures in the gallery http://heartlandfw.org/photos/dayspring-2010-dmt/.

The Discipleship Training class this year was smaller, just 7 students but the students were very ready for our teaching.  We taught on the Father heart of God with several different sessions on forgiveness, receiving His love and the need to choose to be in His presence.  He responded with an overwhelming flood of love for them as they pressed into Him in times of worship after each session.  God gave us words of exhortation for each of the students that were well received.  We also did teaching / sharing at 2 church services.  For more stories please talk to Mike, Betty or Jon.

We are considering doing a summer trip where we would be helping the class in outreach into some villages with VBS and praying for people.  If you are interested in being part of the summer trip please talk to Pastor Jon or send an email.
