The Worship Community is having a Fellowship Night on Saturday, August 7 at 6 pm! We look forward to a great night of worshiping, praying and being together again. It will be a potluck so we’re asking everyone to bring their favorite dish to share.

2010 HONA Reunion

The entire membership of the Heart of North America will gather on September 17 and 18 in Fort Wayne, IN for our first Regional AMiA Reunion. We’ll be joined by AMiA Chairman Bishop Chuck Murphy, Bishop Thad Barnum, AMiA Worship Director Andy Piercy, Chosen Leader Acton Beard, and Rivertree Stewardship’s Don Woodard. Each of these leaders will be helping us to lay the foundation stones for our next ten years of ministry together. You won’t want to miss this time of celebration, teaching and fellowship at one our region’s best worship facilities, Heartland Church. We’ve done everything possible to make this reunion a powerful, fun, and best of all, inexpensive time for everyone. We’re expecting a huge crowd, including you!

School Supply Giveaway

Sunday Aug. 1st will be the school supply giveaway. We will do it at 6 pm. We will need help putting bags together the week before. Also, keep your eyes open for good sales on school supplies. We always need crayons, pencils, folders, rulers, glue, erasers, Kleenex, washable markers, colored pencils, dry erase markers, etc.

Need Help Linking Our Podcasts To iTunes?

I received questions from quite a few people on how to set up itunes with the church’s new website.
Here are a lists of steps to follow to link the podcasts into itunes or which ever program you use.

First go to the church website located here and click on the “Podcast” tab in the upper right.

Then click on the drop down menu in the upper left and select “Choose Application”.

Next click on “My Computer” from the drop down menu.

Now double click on the “Local Disk (C)”.

Then double click on “Program Files”.

Then double click on “Itunes”.

Now select “itunes.exe” and then click open.

Now check the box as shown and click on “Subscribe Now”.

itunes should open and it will begin to download the latest podcast.

Food Pantry

Open every Sunday at 6pm. Donations are always accepted in the shopping cart in the foyer. If you would like to volunteer, please see Nicole in the food pantry. We are always in need of donations. Here are some suggestions: laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, household cleaners, bar soap (Ivory is the gentlest), Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, feminine hygiene, hand sanitizer, diapers sizes 4 and 5. Any donations are accepted, but these are a few of the most regularly needed items.
